St. Mary's is located in the Historical District of Downtown Milton. Our area of town has recently been renovated with all new landscaping, sidewalks, streets, and streetlights. Our church was founded in 1867 and the current building was completed in 1878 and is registered as a National Historical Site.
Directions: From Pensacola, Pace, and all places West of Downtown Milton: Take Hwy 90 through Milton, make a right onto Escambia Street. Then make a left onto Oak Street. Map of 6849 Oak Street, Milton, FL
We Welcome Visitors! If you decide to stop by and visit St. Mary's, please make yourself known to Father John and fill out a Visitor's Card which can be found in the pew racks inside the church. You can give the card to an usher or place it in the collection plate. If you are unfamiliar with an Episcopal Service, please note the following: Our service of worship comes from the Book of Common Prayer. The hymns are from the Hymnal 1982. It is the tradition in this parish church to kneel for prayer, to stand for the Creed, the reading of the Gospel, and the singing of the hymns, and to sit and listen as God's Word is proclaimed. All Baptized Christians are welcome to receive Holy Communion. In the Episcopal Church, we receive both the bread and wine while kneeling at the altar rail. Those persons not wishing to receive Communion are invited to come forward, and fold their arms over their chest to receive a blessing.
